User-reported[edit]
- Gundaraaj (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as a disruptive username. The username refers to a "system run by gangsters" (see https://www.jstor.org/stable/43908005). The editor also received warnings for disruption and was introduced to CT-notice as well. I believe it will only cause further disruption under this username. — DaxServer (t·m·e·c) 10:30, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- I presume the name is a reference to current Indian politics which is what they are editing on, hence the contentious topics notification. I'm not sure this is a username issue though. Secretlondon (talk) 12:19, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Not a blatant violation of the username policy. Please discuss this with the user first, and consider opening a community discussion at Requests for comment/User names if they disagree with your concerns. I think that this is unclear enough that it would require more discussion than this page can accomodate. The question here is probably if this username "makes harmonious editing difficult or impossible". 331dot (talk) 20:20, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
- Printinghistory (talk · contribs · deleted · filter log · SUL · Google) • (block · soft · promo · cause · bot · hard · spam · vandal) – Violation of the username policy as a promotional username. Has only edited American Printing History Association. Added links to https://printinghistory.org. jlwoodwa (talk) 20:21, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
